Optometrist
Dr. Erik B. Mauzy, OD, is board certified in medical optometry and joined Ophthalmic Associates in 2012. He graduated from Shippensburg University in 1996 and from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry in 2000 where he received clinical honors. He completed his residency in ocular disease and hospital based optometry in 2001 from the Wilmington VAMC in Delaware. He is affiliated with Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center. He has been voted "Somerset County's Favorite Eye Doctor" by the readers of the Daily American (2016-2020, office 2021).
A native of Somerset County, Dr. Mauzy has enjoyed the past 20 years treating the patients of the community he grew up in. He practices full scope optometry, treating patients of all ages, and has a special interest in ocular disease.
Dr. Mauzy enjoys traveling, hunting, auto racing and especially spending time his wife and two children.
